Navistar, Inc. Regulatory Compliance Analyst Sr. in Lisle, Illinois

Position Overview

Navistar's compliance team is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Analyst Sr. to join their team in Lisle. Responsibilities would include working with the Logistic team on regulatory compliance and writing technical bulletins.

Responsibilities

  • Assists and supports the organization in complying with, as well as the ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of conformance to, the requirements of government regulations and/or regulatory agencies.

  • Performs evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to regulatory compliance and recommends appropriate changes.

  • Conducts and facilitates internal and external audits to identify, evaluate, disclose and appropriately remedy risks and deficiencies.

  • Coordinates the preparation of and may prepare document packages for regulatory submissions from all areas of company as well as for internal and external audits and inspections.

  • May serve as point of contact for interactions with regulatory agencies for defined matters.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 2 years of regulatory compliance experience

OR

  • Master’s degree

OR

  • At least 4 years of regulatory compliance experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.   • Requiring knowledge and experience in own discipline, applies company policies and practices/procedures to resolve various issues or problems of moderate scope.

  • The ability to exercises judgment within defined, standard practices/procedures to determine appropriate action.

  • Experience building productive internal/external working relationships.
